In this episode I interview Mirelle Leguia, the founder of Mother Nutrient, a supplement company made specifically for the needs of mothers based in Austin, TX.  Mirelle shares how she found the need for mother based supplements in the marketplace, struggles she encountered to get the business up and running, where her passion came from to develop high quality supplements, how she got distribution through Amazon and her ideas to expand the company in the future.  Mirelle's interest in nutrition came after her own health challenges during and after her pregnancies. She left her established career in marketing to pursue her interest in women's health, specifically prenatal and postnatal nutrition.  She went back to school and graduated from Bauman College's Holistic Nutrition Program with Honors after completing her Master's in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and her Bachelor's in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.   Mirelle has worked with local and international clients, helping them recover their health after having babies and teaching them about nutrient dense foods. She is a member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP) and regularly attends nutrition and birth professional conferences. She specializes in Paleo, WAPF and other nutrient dense diets.   Mirelle currently lives in south Austin with her husband Jason, son Nico, puppy Emma and eight happy backyard chickens.
