In part four of this five-part series on the rarely discussed importance of setting boundaries, we discussed how boundaries help you to discern difference. Often, we have been raised or established a certain way and that way becomes a model for how we view and respond to life situations. We need to be trained on how to respond rather than react, similar to how a thermostat responds and adjusts the system according to the temperature in a room while a thermometer simply reads and displays/mirrors the current temperature.
