It depends.  Losing side managers hate them as the goal becomes save the pitcher arms.  But a blowout is still only one loss and baseball always has a game tomorrow. We discuss blowouts in other sports (is 1-0 really a blowout in soccer?), postseason blowouts and World Series blowouts.
