Listen "Spirit & Place Festival"
Episode Synopsis
The 2019 Spirit & Place Festival kicked off Friday evening in Indianapolis. It’s a week of conversations around culture, art and media, and how those things intertwine with important social issues. Spirit & Place encourages creative thinking, and unique approaches, to the complex challenges we face today.
We explore a few of the big questions being covered this year, including what happens to art when democracy gets stuck in a rut. We also explore the link between healthy communities and healthy pregnancies, and how the world’s religions might react if life is discovered beyond earth.
Produced by Matt Pelsor.
