People often ask me about their blocks to accessing the Akashic Records, and, by extension, receiving any intuitive guidance. Why don’t I hear anything? Why don’t I see anything? Do I have a curse/entity/can you clear? Is this a past life issue? In most cases, the issue is not that complicated. True, in some cases, spirit attachments or other negative energies can block receiving intuitive guidance. But very few blocks to reading the Akashic Records come from what I would call Akashic Records level information (such as soul contracts or past lives). The reality is both much more simple and more complex. Some of the major blocks to receiving intuitive guidance arise from: Our templating: the patterns of thinking/ feeling/ acting that we inherited from society, family and belief systems around us. We simply don't have adequate vocabulary to explain or process what we receive. Like a 3-year-old attempting to read a book on astrophysics, we receive information, but have no way of recognizing it for what it is. Inner resistance to receiving guidance (what if I actually receive guidance that I don’t like?). Resistance comes up for everyone, and the greater your potential, the stronger the resistance. Lack of experience and practice. Like in any field, talent and interest means nothing without practice. It took me about 3 years before I started receiving information intuitively, without the use of pendulum or other tools. Inability to let go of the thinking mind. We will not receive intuitive information through our thinking minds. Do you know how to listen to your body? To your intuition? Do you know how to put yourself into a receptive state? Do you know how to practice self-observation? Lack of trust in your own intuition. This includes assumptions about the ways you will receive intuitive guidance (for example, that you will "see" pictures or "hear" literal words) Listen to the episode to find out more!
