Isis is probably the most well known goddess of the ancient Egyptian pantheon. She is the Great Mother and a guide into the feminine aspect of the Divine. The Black Madonnas of Europe, and the earlier cults of Cibele and Hecate all trace at least some of their influence back to Isis worship.Isis is a healer and comforter. She is in fact a master healer and master magician, who resurrected her beloved Osiris, gathering the pieces of him throughout the land and bringing him back from the dead.
