Join Michael Hann (Paediatric Dietitian) for a conversation about how to approach nutrition and related medical issues that impact children and teens who have severe Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID). This includes those children living with high-complexity presentations of Autism, neurodivergence, PANS/PANDAS, neuropsychiatric, neuroimmune and genetic disorders. Often these youth also experience other complex functional and medical issues, which are difficult to resolve when extremely sensitive, restrictive and rigid traits are barriers to oral intake. In this show, we explore how to support these young people.
