Listen "Never To Be Silenced Again - Conversation with Del from London (pt III)"
Episode Synopsis
In the third and final installment of our conversation with Del from London, he explains to us some of the red flags that he has noticed during his time with the organization. Like many of us, he saw these red flags but chose to ignore them. According to Del, part of the reason for ignoring the red flags is because we were “so indoctrinated." The more we discussed, Cousin Eddie’s noticed that there was a certain level of fear put into the membership in order to maintain order. We ask Del if he regrets joining the church and his answer is rather complicated. Del has sacrificed time, personal and professional opportunities in order to "seek the kingdom first." Del also discusses the concept of a cult and how he came to the realization that he was a part of a cult. Despite all of that, Del has picked up the pieces to his life and he discusses how he has done so.
