Listen "Remembering Ryan Correy "
Episode Synopsis
Ryan Correy was an adventure cyclist, ultra endurance athlete, author and the founder of Bikepack Canada. Ryan accomplished some unbelievable adventures, such as cycling a loop around Canada and the U.S., and cycling the Pam-American Highway (from Alaska at Argentina). He also competed in some of the most gruelling cycling races in the world, including RAAM and the Tour Divide. Ryan wrote a great book about his adventures (A Purpose Ridden), as well as a guidebook (Bikepacking in the Canadian Rockies), which you can find at https://www.bikepack.ca/store. Ryan was diagnosed with cancer in July 2017 and lost his battle the following spring. Ryan had an enormous impact on the cycling world in his time. This episode is us remembering Ryan, and we include a portion of a conversation we had together (along with Jim Capra) back in March of 2017.
