Althea has been in the ministry of help for over 25 years. In the past, Althea's life story included rape, molestation, divorce, domestic violence, abortion, miscarriage, and the loss of her best friend and husband of 18 years.
Today, Althea lives in San Antonio, Texas with her two young adult children. She defines herself first, as a Child of God who is bold, transparent, unafraid, and unashamed to use her voice and help others find theirs. She is the host and producer of WOVE Inspiration Podcast where she interviews men and women who want to use their voices and share their stories of being overcomers and successful despite obstacles experienced in their past. Althea is also a Professional Counselor for Life Choices Medical Clinic in San Antonio, Texas, where she helps women who experience mental health issues due to past sexual trauma, miscarriage, or abortion. Her favorite scripture is Romans 8:28, because even though her life was challenging, all things truly worked together for her good.
