This episode is part 1 of a 2-part interview with honored guest, Dr. Tania Platero, a prior member of ACMedical who matched into pathology PGY1 categorical position in the 2021’s Main Match. She graduated from the University of El Salvador Faculty of Medicine and is a co-author in 9 publications.
The 2021 Match was quite memorable and filled with uncertainties since it was the 1st full match cycle which was conducted during the COVID-19 Pandemic, Dr. Platero shares her journey that led up to her pathology match, and then next week, we’ll discuss her experience as a pathology PGY1.
