I thought it was unfair that I frequently experienced pain and suffering. I blamed others and then punished myself by hiding from opportunities to connect with them.Dear Diary,A few years ago, I gave up on myself and fell victim to the unhappy reflection I saw in the looking glass. I only saw the wound as a reminder of despair.Dear Diary,Last year, I started to question who I really was and what the wound could offer me. I started to ask the Universe whether I had any other choice than to suffer.Dear Diary,Last week, I saw that I always have a choice. And the first choice for me to make is to see that I am worthy of the power that resides in each choice I make.Dear Diary…. No, Dear Me….,Today I choose to see this wound and every wound differently. I see each wound as a portal that can either take me into deeper suffering or into freedom.
