Today was such an energized conversation with Stephaine Courtney. She has such an amazing passion and excitement for making connections with others and creating a system of support for each individual, especially in their times of need. Stephaine shares her personal experience with infertility and how it led her to find out about new avenues of peer support and doulas in particular. I share her passion for building your own team and also for hiring a birth doula in particular. For those who might be new here, I am a birth doula and birth educator and I was thrilled to share this conversation with someone who had such a positive experience with her pregnancy and birth after finding that peer support team for herself and her family. Stephaine has a vision for what we can do in our own circumstances using peer support and in pre and post birth education to enhance the life experience of our communities and families.
