Growing up and studying in Hong Kong's education system as South Asians came with its challenges and struggles, as until 2013 the education system in the city was racially segregated.
And we all tried to gain a sufficient education and access to more opportunities in a system not designed for us. But things are positively looking up and it's a joy to see many South Asians trailblazing in the city in many different career paths.
