Listen "Held By Him"
Episode Synopsis
We are pinching some salt on topics that we face as Christians in today's world. According to Jesus in Matthew 5:13 we are to be the salt of the earth. That means we must Speak, Act, Look, and Think like Christ in every area of our lives. In each episode we will dive into a topic and see what scripture says about it while telling stories from our own lives.Held By Him: When you have friends who love the Lord it’s a blessing and we had our very own Blessing on the podcast today. Trish has been a friend of ours for a long time and she has a ministry called Held by Him which supports mission work in the U.S., Peru, Africa and the Philippines. She joined us today to tell us about her ministry and the upcoming event being held to raise funds for an immediate need in the Philippines. You can find more information or donate on Held by Him’s website: heldbyhim.org. If you are wanting to get involved but cannot financially support this ministry, there are other ways to be a part of this fantastic organization! Prayer is the biggest way to get involved! You can also serve at an event or you can go on missions trips and working directly with the communities being served. We would like to thank our amazing sponsors: Renewed Strength Church, Cheryl and Dan Crews, and Zach and Taylor Johnson for their support! Don't forget to follow us on Instagram and Facebook! While you're at it, send us a message, like, comment and share our page! You can also email us at [email protected]! Thanks for listening!
