Listen "Casey Kawaguchi"
Episode Synopsis
In this one, I interview friend and former roommate, Casey Kawaguchi - a Denver-based muralist whose work is inspired by his Japanese heritage. Since day one, Casey and I have connected through art on a level that seems to leave the numbers and figures of a resource-based economy behind and I think a lot of that can be heard in this conversation.
I believe anyone doing creative work will really like being a fly on the wall here and identify with this one. We talk about how we met in the early days of our careers and how far we've come since -- covering things like struggling with artist's block, perseverance and "doing the work", as well as taking the leap to pursue your craft full time.
