During David's time of exile and flight away from Saul, he stopped in Nob and Gath. At Nob, he was given the sword of Goliath. In Gath, he acted like a madman so that the ruler of Gath wouldn't treat him badly or try to kill him. Hmmm... Interesting strategy!
