King Xerxes gives a banquet for all his nobles and officials and then tries to parade his wife, Queen Vashti, out in front of them but she refuse to come. This made the king furious.
He checked in with his boys and they told him to depose her and bring in a new queen by putting out a call for all the beautiful virgins in the kingdom. He decided that what was a good idea.
