To illustrate that the day and hour are unknown, Jesus shares the parable of the 10 virgins. Five were foolish and five were wise.
He also shares the parable of the talents – my favorite parable – which has to do with being productive with what we’ve been entrusted with – wealth, gifts, talents, intelligence, etc.
