About April:
THE BACKSTORY
Jewelry and the passion to create has been an integral part of April’s fabric for as long as she can remember. Born and raised in Michigan, her childhood birthday parties were filled with friends and family bringing her stacks of plastic bangles and necklaces. There are very few photos her as a toddler NOT accessorized to the nines! April jokes that she’s been wearing and designing jewelry since she could borrow the earrings from Mrs. Potato Head – photo proof available below. April Soderstrom, the jewelry company, was formally launched in 2012 and made an instant splash with her trademarked Featherweight Collection of lightweight everyday hoops and earrings that are all handmade in the USA with the finest wire that maintains its color, is perfect for sensitive ears, and are so lightweight you’ll forget you’re wearing earrings.

AS GIVES
A special part of April’s personal and business life is finding ways to give back. Recently April has donated over $75,000 in sales of her “to Ukraine with Love Bracelet,” to Sunflower of Peace, a local Boston charity working to provide humanitarian and medical aid to those who need it most in Ukraine. She’s also been able to donate tens of thousands of meals to Feeding America through the sale of her “Good Vibes Bracelets.”

Post college I worked in the interior design field for 3 years then spent almost 7 years as an executive assistant.
I started my business making custom pageant jewelry.
Making jewelry is my favorite way to meditate or unwind.
