In this episode of 8-bit Monsters, Monster Deconstruction for D&D 5e. I discuss the changes coming to the podcast for Season 2. Much has gone on since I last recorded and uploaded a scheduled podcast. I've since changed the videos I upload to YouTube and now can make both the YouTube channel and podcast unique and different! If anything, I may now upload my podcast episodes to YouTube, lmao. Anyways, this short update announcement just goes over what's been going on and how my videos/podcast have evolved and quickly!
New Episodes every 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd of the month!
The idea of this podcast is to break monsters down into their bare components: DCR & OCR. These two values will allow us to see how strong they are and to see where D&D got the CR values from. I'm doing this because all too often, players skip right to level 3 to avoid the hell levels and possibly end up dead. Generally, each monster is a balancing act that isn't equal to the final value.
