Hope is the inBalance founder and creator, and fitness and wellness expert, Hope Pedraza, fell in love with dance at the age of 3 and has yet to stop moving. Born and raised a Southern girl in Louisiana, she has had a passion for rhythm and movement since she could walk, and danced her way through high school and college when discovering the benefits of Pilates. After a decade of teaching fitness and earning certifications in fitness and Pilates, including becoming a licensed Fletcher provider, a 500 Hour BASI Comprehensive Pilates, a Certified Personal Trainer through ACSM, a certified Nutrition Coach, Holistic Nutritionist and is a Board Certified Member of the America Association of Drugless Practitioners, Hope opened inBalance, a fitness and wellness studio offering yoga, pilates, barre, dance and fitness classes in San Antonio, Texas. Her goal with inBalance is to help others experience the joy of movement and the peace-of-mind that true health brings. While running her business in its start up phase with a full time job, Hope eventually “retired” from her day job as a high school teacher and dance team coach, so she could devote her time and energy to her studio, to focus on her true passion and love of health and fitness, share the concepts and techniques of Pilates and her love of movement with other people, to provide a sense of belonging and community, and to educate them on the power of purposeful movement.She recently franchised her studio inBalance to bring her studio concept to the masses. She also recently created her personal brand Hopeful and Wholesome to create another avenue to lead people into better health through her nutrition coaching and programs.
