My friend, Eimear Zone joins me to share her journey with alcohol. She is currently celebrating 2 years alcohol-free. She shares how she decided it was time to ask for help with her alcohol issue and found support through therapy and a prescription drug called Naltrexone. Naltrexone is a medication used to treat addiction by blocking the effects of opioids, reducing cravings, and preventing relapse. It works by binding to opioid receptors in the brain, effectively blocking the euphoric effects of opioids and alcohol. There is so much more to her story so listen up.
