Episode Synopsis "Memories - The Drive to and from work audio"

These were the times when I worked from an office/shop front in the town of Paarl in South Africa. At that time I was self-employed repairing and selling IT equipment and providing IT support services to clients. This was back in 2018 and 2 weeks before I closed my business to work from home. It was the best thing I did at the time and still is to this day. On this day of the video, I was practicing working with a GoPro and I captured a video of me driving to and from work on a borrowed GoPro from a family member. Ten days later my wife and I boarded a plane and off we went to our dream Camino walk, the Portuguese Camino from Porto to Santiago de Compostella. On 2 July 2018 while I was visiting Canada I unknowingly said that my next trip would be the Camino, this got imprinted in my mind, and on 24 September 2018, we were accomplishing this dream we have had to do the Camino.  (2021) It's now 3 years since then and life as we all knew it is no longer the same. We need to continue dreaming and aspiring to do the things that we love for we never know what lies ahead. Strive to be happy in your work and find your niche in life. This pandemic of our times Covid-19 has brought with it a lot of devastation and despair but it has also taught us valuable lessons in life which are different to all of us, you will know what it has done for you. Keep up the hope and enjoy life for it is good. If something is not right for you and you're unhappy feeling down, in despair and helpless it is sometimes the wrong spices we add to our life at the time.
