This week we will investigate the theme, How can a believer who has experienced so much of the manifestations of God still fall away? I think Matthew 11:1-9 can shed some light on this counterintuitive statement. One would reason that the more power experienced would guarantee growth and perseverance for believers. I would say in some cases this is not true. We compare John the Baptists's episode of imprisonment  with the multitude of experiences of some of Jesus's disciples and their reactions. What can we learn from this contrast?
