In context
15to carry out judgment on everyone, and to convict every soul of all the ungodly deeds they have done in their godlessness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have hurled against him.” 16These people are grumblers and complainers, indulging their own desires. They speak with arrogance, flattering others to gain advantage. 17But you, dear friends—call to mind what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ told you beforehand. 18They told you, “In the final age there will be scoffers, indulging their own ungodly desires.” 19These are the ones who cause division, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit.
