In context

11The smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and there is no rest, day or night, for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” 12This calls for the patient endurance of the saints, who keep the commandments of God and hold fast to the faith of Jesus. 13Then I heard a voice from heaven, saying, “Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “let them rest from their labors, for their works follow them.” 14Then I looked, and there was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was someone like a son of man, with a golden crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. 15Then another angel came out of the temple, calling out in a loud voice to the one seated on the cloud, “Swing your sickle and reap, for the hour to reap has come, because the harvest of the earth is ripe.”
