Growing up I was known as quite the rebel
Fought against everything I knew was good
Tempted fate with my body and spirit
Cracked my head open more than the Good Book
Now look at me today winning at life
Not even sure how I survived

I was blessed to make it through
All the wrong turns and bitter truths
After years of bad decisions I somehow landed on my feet
Someone up in Heaven must've PULLED SOME STRINGS


While I was learning to learn from my failures
Small errors became big mistakes
They led me off the road less traveled
But I got back on track anyway
I used to give lady luck the credit
For righting the wrong way I was headed...but...
