If you type the word “woman” into your search engine, the first entries are related to topics on Health, Beauty, Lifestyles, Sexuality, Relationships, Stories of great Women, etc. Something that years ago was not the case, showing that the rise of Tech Women on the Internet has carried great weight in recent years, and how many of them today share what we affectionately call the “ZARZA Attitude“.
Tech Women leave their mark
Without a doubt, that is so. Women, as social beings, have been waging a tireless struggle for many years and have participated actively in social spheres. The truth is that, thanks to education, a channel has opened so that the active participation of Tech Women on the Internet can be truly fruitful and genuine; their writings, videos and stories are no longer limited to a group of friends hearing their voice, but have gradually been flowing through the network to many other latitudes, inspiring others to take the reins and identify with Tech Women on the Internet. Providing proactivity, positivity and the reflection of their struggles toward a better world, these being part of the Values that ZARZA embraces as its own.
Women Inspiring new generations
The Internet has provided the opportunity for many Women to preserve and revive the legacy of many others who have made great contributions to the world. For example, Malala Yousafzai, who enters history as a Pakistani student and great activist, and thanks to the presence of Tech Women on the Internet, her work has been a great inspiration for many and will likely continue to be so for many more decades. She is the youngest person to date to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, in 2014 at just 17 years of age, and she champions education and civil rights for women.
For ZARZA it is truly important to recognize the great Women of the Internet, their vision and contributions through Technology; that is why the rise of Tech Women on the Internet matters to us.
Tech women on the Internet breaking new ground
It has been a great opportunity to observe the emergence of many women in technological fields, which some time ago were dominated by the male sex — and this without slighting the courtesy between both genders, but rather contributing different visions of the endless technological possibilities the world offers, bringing with it the breeding ground of Digital natives that the world needs, in an era where competition between the sexes is taking on shades of camaraderie and respect.
