2Dear friend, my prayer for you is that you may thrive in every way and be in good health, just as your soul already thrives. 3I was overjoyed when some brothers and sisters arrived and told me how faithful you are to the truth — just as you yourself walk in the truth. 4My own children walking in the truth — I know no greater joy than that. 5Dear friend, you show faithfulness in everything you do for the brothers and sisters, especially when they are strangers to you. 6They have told the church of your love, and you will do well to send them on their way in a manner worthy of God.
