Let's go back to the basics of Christ. In Romans 8:29 we are told that our goal is to be conformed to the image and likeness of Christ Jesus. With this goal in mind, we must align our lives and pursue this if we want to achieve God's will. Discipleship starts at this junction: conformity. Jesus is our pattern because we are supposed to be becoming just like Him. A mature Christian is one who's life can properly reflect Jesus in every aspect of life. If you are not being conformed to His image, then you are not a 'Christian'. Discipleship is the training method used by God to make us like Christ. Every child of God must enter so that conformity can take place. All these principles are the basics! They are our foundation! Thank you for joining us for this episode.
