Episode 24 of The ThawedCast features special guest Hannah Leigh Smart (@hannahleigheverafter on Instagram) joining Philip Ehlke for a review and discussion of 2019's 'Missing Link' from Laika. Written and directed by Chris Butler and produced over the course of five years under the working title 'Seeking Shangri-La,' this stop-motion animated film pushes the medium to a new level of lush, colorful, adventurous (if not a bit predictable) storytelling. A lonely Sasquatch (Zach Galifianakis) enlists the help of naturalist Lionel Frost (Hugh Jackman) to help him find a secret Yeti civilization on the other side of the world.
