"Podcast good, movie bad." This week, join filmmaker, influencer, and cultural icon Santino Vitale as he's accompanied by his trusty sidekick Andy Matzke as they discuss Guillermo del Toro's 2025 adaptation of the classic tale: Frankenstein. Just to be clear, Frankenstein is the doctor and not the monster; the monster doesn't really have a name. Still, we can call him Frankenstein's Monster, but he's not really a Monster; he's really just a tall man made up of several tall men. Oh and he’s got superhuman abilities like super strength and the ability to heal himself. Still, I guess Victor Frankenstein's miraculous creation with superhuman powers is a long name, but then why did we choose the name monster? Perhaps all the problems with this movie stem from the fact that they called him a monster instead of a superhuman creation. He was also only considered a monster cause he couldn't speak or read.
