I wake up unto a world
Ready to eat me alive
Making agreements in life
That I cannot justify

Rules piled so high
I'd never have the time to measure
The lengths we go to
Deny ourselves pleasure

So no
I don't want to make any plans
No I won't tether myself to you
Or anybody else

I won't be entangled
With anyone or anything
I won't pass judgment upon you
And won't listen to what you think of me

Well feeling is a funny thing
As there is no in-between
You're either flying in the clouds
Or tormented by pain

So no,
I don't want to make any plans
And no I will not tether myself to you

I'm gonna do what I like
Same as when I was a child
Experience this world with my senses
Instead of letting my heart and my head
Keep me down

Nothing is gonna keep me down
