Jonah Denae is a female Poet, Music Artist, Lyricist, Actress Performer and Writer - from Milwaukee roots. Born and raised. Like many artists, she has a story. Above all and everything, Denae is yet humbled and grateful to be recognized as an artist who has broken history down in Milwaukee, where she has been the first finalist in the first ever Milwaukee Youth Poet Laureate competition, alongside many other accomplishments and achievements made thus far in an emerging career of hip hop and author artistry. She has consistently gone on to break history - by being the first ever spoken word artist to ever perform at the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. As humble as she is, there are many certifications, Honorariums, Awards and Recognitions that are to be bragged on. She has performed in many acting plays including contributions to the main role in the play, "The Color Purple" at the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre.
