What is the Trinity?There is ONLY 1 God…who eternally exists as 3 different persons. 4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Deuteronomy 6:4 16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:16-17 26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Matthew 28:18-20“For in Christ, ALL the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form and your have been given fullness in Christ who is the head over every power and authority…” Colossians 2:9-10a3. How should this doctrine impact me?It should give you a deeper reverence for God the Father. He is God. He is complete Love…and He is completely Holy.
