Dark atmospheres, driving basslines, and intricate drum work have all been the hallmarks of a unique sound Rift has carefully crafted over the years. Drawing from influences set in the raw, immersive sounds of early 2000s D&B and future garage, he has built a reputation for cultivating finely balanced productions that maintain suspense and tension whilst constantly driving forwards with a relentless, rolling energy.

Over the years Rift's unique style and approach has landed his music on various elite imprints including Dispatch Recordings, Cause4Concern Recs, and Goldie's legendary Metalheadz, as well as capturing the attention and support of other pioneering producers across the D&B spectrum - from the likes of Noisia, Fierce, Matrix, Hybrid Minds, and London Elektricity, further establishing the 26 year old as a rising talent to watch.

As a DJ, Rift is equally experienced and versatile, blending his own productions with carefully selected modern cuts and forgotten gems. Initially honing his craft in clubs around London and Bath, Rift has taken his music to dancefloors and festivals across the UK and Europe. Whether he is mixing D&B, Jungle, Breakbeat, or any other genre that has taken his interest, he consistently captures the dark, rolling tension and energy that have made his own productions so distinct.
