Riccardo Benigno is a genre-blending DJ, producer, and live performer whose immersive sets traverse the worlds of Afro house, electronica, deep house, breaks, techno and even cinema. Born in Johannesburg and based globally, Riccardo has spent over a decade sculpting soundscapes that fuse pulsating percussive grooves, filthy synth basslines, and hypnotic vocal textures.

A graduate of SAE Institute with a BA in Sound Production, Riccardo’s skillset extends far beyond the decks—he’s also a remarkable sound designer, talented vocalist, sensei of synthesist, organic drummer, and label owner. As the creative force behind multiple aliases (including MR3000, Efault, Themba, SearchingSilence, BeeziR, Bobby Be, B.o.B and Goof) and co-founder of the progressive label and trio *SOUNDLANGUAGE*, his sonic identity is defined by innovation, authenticity, and raw musical energy.

Riccardo’s explosive performances have lit up stages from *Afrikaburn* to *Elrow Barcelona*, *Jungle Experience Thailand*, *VH1 Supersonic India*, and festivals across Colombia, Germany, Norway, Mozambique, and South Africa. He’s supported acts like *Four Tet*, *Stimming*, and *Boris Brejcha*, and has released music through renowned imprints including *Katermukke*, *Kalushi Recordings*, *Nomadiq Music*, and his own *Soundlanguage Records*.
