Ed Greer and Producer Bill go knock-down, drag-out over The Man of Tomorrow, The Last Son of Krypton, Zack Snyder's Lament, Jon Peters' White Whale. It's the oldest franchise in comics, and a story so torn between living up to its myth and straining to be relevant, it's almost impossible to tell. Fanboys call him unrelatable, the general public calls him old-fashioned, but everyone knows they don't want to watch him doubt himself or snap necks. You may think you don't want it, but yeah, we're gonna do it. We're actually going to reboot SUPERMAN.
