Listen "Translating the Code"
Episode Synopsis
The International Coaching Federation has worked tremendously hard to identify and establish the professional and ethical standards for coaching. Our Core Competencies give us a list describing the skills expected of a professionally trained coach. But this list is just the beginning. It is a raw attempt to describe the essential characteristics of a coaching conversation. Our job, and especially the job of a coach educator, is to be able to translate this "code" into concepts that become alive during a coaching interaction. It is a way to go above the written statements and make it human. To find out more about our programs, go to www.primecoachingacademy.com.#standards #ICF #beingHuman #code #mastery #skills
