As free moral agents, we all face temptation to sin. We have all been tempted and have been guilty of sin. We will die spiritually if we continually give in to temptation and sin. The big question is, how do we protect ourselves from temptation? Jesus tells us to watch and pray- Matthew 26:41 Be sober and vigilant- 1 Peter 5:8-9 Study God's words- Pslams 119:11 Sin is very deceitful (Hebrews 3:13) and as we continue to be tempted, if we are not careful, we can gradually give in to it and become comfortable in sin. We must be watchful to overcome temptation and live a godly life so we can go to Heaven when this life is over.
