Henry talks with Jane Hicks about her latest book, her experiences growing up and teaching in high schools in the Appalachian Region. Henry taught Jane at Lynn View High in ninth grade English. Jane shares a great story from that class and reads beautiful poems from her latest book, The Safety of Small Things, soon to be published by University of Kentucky Press.
