Hey family, often when we come up against something that makes us feel powerless or out of control, we focus on addressing that feeling rather than the thing that makes us feel that way. We try to kill the pain but not the sickness. What is going to end up supreme when we confront these insurmountable challenges? Is it going to be us and our own efforts, these challenges, or something else?

Join us on Sunday to receive hope and guidance. We meet at 10 a.m., 360 Schermerhorn St. This Sunday is a great opportunity to bring your kids or grandkids! Our children's ministry, IgNite Kidz, will be holding a special event in the park next door with face painting, a Bible story and more. --Edwin

Sat., Nov. 2--MARATHON EVE SERVICE! Join us for our annual service held the night before the New York City Marathon. Since it's so difficult to get around on Marathon day, we hold our service the night before. Doors open 5:30, service begins at 6.
