In an online world where constant, droning noise is prized, what kinds of interactions do you favour and why?

I value the same kinds of interactions online that I do IRL. Growing up with computers at the time I did completely frames what I value in interactions with others. I’ve written about it before.
Above all, I value curiosity. I like when people want to understand. I believe that seeking understanding is a necessary component of conversing with someone, whether they’re a stranger or a friend.
It kind of feels like social media reduced us to being merely reaction providers. How would the overall feeling of being on social media change if nearly every social media reply was someone asking a question?
