Listen "Never Quite Falling"
Episode Synopsis
My fingers don't get on with the guitar fretboard - not nimble or flexible enough. Despite that I love the sounds of it as an instrument and one thing I'm particularly fond of is finger style guitar playing.
in all my years of making electronic music I've never really found any decent emulation of it - most guitar stuff for producers is sample based anyway. As I've become more fluent in Supercollider I realised it would be an ideal way to build an emulation I could use in the way I wanted to with much more control than sample based approaches
And having got it working here is a little piece I put together with it. It's kind of pattern based so the tonality is a bit odd in once place but that led to the title and I kind of like it (since the title also has other relevance)
