Jonny 5 is a long-time record collector, DJ and dedicated musical obsessive with a deep love of dub, post-punk, synth oddities and heavy groove. A co-founder of Bahnsteig 23 and co-curator of the Platform 23 reissue label, he is known for eclectic sets that drift between psychedelic dub pressure, electro, new wave, techno and forgotten dancefloor curiosities.

After more than 25 years behind the decks and a lifetime digging through records, Jonny 5 still approaches DJing from the perspective of a music lover rather than a careerist — more interested in energy, space and strange connections than genre rules. Expect long-form journeys, tempo shifts, dubbed-out detours and the occasional curveball.
