Listen "Six-String Hymn"
Episode Synopsis
This is the first attempt to create a song in Tunee. I deliberately let the AI "Agent" lead me on this to explore how the process worked. I did outline the lyrical content, but did not offer any specific lyrics. I was absolutely knocked out by the lyrics the AI Agent came up with compared to the plain text story, I had outlined. I was offered three genres/styles based on the outline and the meagre description I had given. After the process, two versions of the song were provided as seems usual with most software of this ilk. The AI Agent then offered a number of ways of improving the song, as might be expected after listening to a first cut. I actually liked this and had already decided that I would stick with this first offering; I would explore deeper with subsequent songs. The only issue I had with the song and the process after this first try was that I was very unsure about the title, which I had not specified.
All-in-all I was very happy with the experience and decided to take it further. Tunee has a free subscription as does Suno, with fewer goodies and like Suno does not offer the song for commercial use at this level. Not an issue for me as I do not monetise the songs anyway. I just enjoy writing songs and exploring the AI assisted potential .
PS the lyric outline , very briefly, was that an aging rock fan was thinking about past concerts and increasingly he was seeing many of his rock-gods passing away. He was remembering concerts attended by himself and friends in his youth. As I said above I was astonished by the lyrics provided by the AI Agent, probably much better than I was used to. I have not edited the lyric as I normally do. Not to ay there are several places where it could be edited positively. This is offered as-is for the benefit of the exercise.
