The second chapter of Philippians contains one of the most famous segments of Scripture and one of the clearest expressions of Christ’s humble service given at the cross. His humility was given for us but His humility is also given through us. He was humble and we are called to the same. Is this something that comes easy? Is this a natural expression of who we are as humans? Nope. But through Christ and in Christ and by Christ’s presence within us...we are able to live in humility in this pride-filled world. That’s where we’re headed this weekend!
