Welcome to a new Episode of Yesound Radio. This time we have Effrocks in the mix.
Effrocks started deejaying in 1999, but his interest in electronic music has been awakened much earlier. In 2004 he played his first gigs at the 1210 Club at the foot of Monte Caolino, a sandberg in Hirschau, Bavaria, Germany. Following this he had countless gigs in the local as well as in the wide-area scene. From 2008 to 2010 he was resident DJ in the BASH CLUB, an electronic event series in a big location called Casino Saal in Amberg (Upper Palatinate / Bavaria). Meanwhile he started producing his own music, in which he would like to express his own sound preferences.
Since September 2011 he and a few (DJ) friends have been running the party series TRUST YOUR DJs, which is a collaboration with TRIO-Club in Amberg. The idea is to represent local and wide-area DJs/artists and to experience intensive moments with all those freaks of the night in a small club space.
Effrocks' DJ sets are diverse and typical at the same time. It is techno in genral, dyed with different influences like House, Minimal, Acid or Electro. Sometimes his sound is a bit more reserved otherwhise he is able to play more impulsive. In doing so he is always following his sence for the music and trying to aim for some emotion of his audience, which the "Rocks" in his name ultimately stands for.
Basically he always stays true to his line because the moment is the key.
