Marina McDougall is the Vice President of Experience and Engagement at the Academy of Natural Sciences. She will join the show to talk about an upcoming exhibit at the academy, Botany of Nations. This exhibit displays an indigenous perspective on the Lewis & Clark story, and will further dive into the relationship between people and plants. This exhibit will be open from March 28th, 2026 to February 14th, 2027. This exhibit is being done in collaboration with Sioux chef, Sean Sherman, known as “The Sioux Chef. With this collaboration, this exhibit will also invite audiences to engage with ancestral foodways as living, evolving traditions.
